Lace, Lace, & More Lace

The Lace Project

[Where my Lace sleeps at night!]

Okay- so what is it & where can you get it?
The Lace Project bracelets are unique and edgy and come in sets of 4. They are able to be stacked and mixed for a fashionable statement. I absolutely adore this product and wear it as a staple piece in my clothing almost daily. I posted a few pictures to show you what they look like on, and how much I truly love them. If you follow me on Instagram, you already know this. You can find them directly on the link I provided you above.

Besides the amazing style, they are made with such great quality. I have a 4 year old sister who is constantly tugging and pulling on them when I am over, and they are in just as good of shape as when I bought them! They are handmade in LA and are all one of a kind pieces.

Jackie is the owner of The Lace Project- she provides amazing customer service and is willing to work with you on any special requests you might have. I am getting married in August of next year, and as a gift for my lovely bridesmaids, I asked Jackie if she could create a set of nude bracelets for me. They each contained a coin charm as well as an initial charm. Mine, pictured below, had "Mrs." engraved onto the initial charm. They came out perfect and now for all the events coming up (bridal shower & bachelorette party) my girls and I will all have a piece of jewelry that ties us together. The girls loved them!

If you have any questions about these bracelets, please feel free to leave me a comment. What is your holy grail accessory? I want to know! :)

Fall Accessories & Makeup Looks

Hello Beauties!
I decided to post a few of my favorite accessories and makeup looks for this fall/winter weather! I recently graduated from college, and as a graduation gift, I got this GORGEOUS Rebecca Minkoff purse. His name is Sunny, and he is absolutely perfect. Made with leather, it has a very classy look that you can take to work as well as out for a night on the town. It has gold detail and a magnetic closure strip at the top, which is very convenient.

Who doesn't love a comfy winter outfit? Everything about this outfit is comfortable, even the shoes! I have a Brandy Melville top on (it is from a while ago so I am not sure which one it is), with LuLuLemon leggings, The Oxford Trunk jewels, The Lace Project bracelets (my all time favorite accessory), and Bakers Shoes

I have been waiting to get my hands on a Cleobella beauty for a while now. Another part of my graduation gift was this clutch/wallet. This handcrafted leather wallet is produced in Bali and has beautiful designs that are very distinct and unique. That quality of the wallet is amazing and I love it paired with my Rebecca Minkoff purse! You can see how spacious the inside of the wallet is for all of your necesseties!

I recently purchased my first CHANEL product from Nordstrom last week. At first, I wasn't sure if I liked it or not- I was expecting the color to be more mauve than it actually is (now looking at it again online, I have no idea why I thought that). I got it in the color "Radieuse". After using it for a week, I fell in love with it! I have to say, it is my longest lasting lipstick that I own, compared to my YSL and Bobbi Brown lipsticks. It has become my go-to lipstick of choice. It feels moisturizing on my lips the whole time and never dries up while I am wearing it. This color is so complimenting, and the packaging is beautiful. I have been on a black and gold kick lately!

I am wearing the CHANEL lipstick here, along with the Laura Mercier eye palette I mentioned in my previous blog post, Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation Laura Mercier Creme Eye Liner in Noir Nars blush in "Super Orgasm" and "Albatross" for the highlight, Tarte Concealer in "fair", Velour Lashes in "Whispie Sweet Nothings", and Anastasia Brow Wiz in "Soft Brown".

Lastly, I got my nails done with white polish and gold glitter for the holidays! Let me know what your favorite holiday accessories are :)

The Honest Co. Review

I am constantly researching ways to improve the quality of life. I try and eat organic whenever possible and my latest mission has been to "detoxify" my home; from candles to cleaning supplies. I had heard of The Honest Co. a while back and finally decided to look into it for myself, and oh my goodness, I was not disappointed.

For those of you who have not heard of this company, The Honest Co. was started by Jessica Alba and Christopher Gavigan. All of their products are made without health-compromising chemicals and toxics that are present in most everything else today. They guarantee that their products are natural, cruelty-free, plant-based, renewable, biodegradable, among many other amazing qualities.  This is a company I can definitely get behind. In addition to the natural ingredients they use, they are completely affordable. I got all five things above for $35, shipping included. If that isn't amazing enough, the order shipped the next day and was delivered the same day! I couldn't believe my eyes when I got home and saw a package at my door step.

If you are looking for ways to detoxify all the nasty, harsh chemicals that we are constantly surrounded with, I 100% recommend that you look into this company. They have products  ranging from baby diapers, to body oils, to wellness supplements, to cleaning supplies. My prayers have been answered!

By the way, I have used all of the products above and love the smell and quality so far. They get the job done and when I am finished cleaning, my house smells so clean! I cannot wait to get my next shippment this month, which will include hand soap, toilet cleaner, floor cleaner, a bamboo dish brush, and glass+window cleaner.

SEPHORA HAUL

Hello Lovlies!

Sorry I haven't posted in a little while, but I am finishing my last couple of weeks up at Cal State and have been crazy busy. Anyways, Sephora just had there big 20% off sale and well, I took advantage! I have had these items for a couple of weeks now, so I can honestly rate them based on my personal experience. If you love Marc Jacobs, Laura Mercier, Anastasia Beverly Hills, or Living Proof, then keep reading :)

Living Proof- my answer to a shampoo and conditioner without: parabens, sulfates, synthetic dyes, petrochemicals, phthalates, GMOs, and triclosan. I can't say enough good things about this product. If you are looking for hair care without all the harsh, nasty chemicals in most beauty products, definitely give this a try!
So, Anastasia Beverly Hills definitely knows what she is doing. I love her brow wiz pencil and had to try her brow gel. It is amazing if you have stubborn hairs that don't want to sit down smoothly, like mine. Eyebrows are such an important feature on your face- take care of them and make them pretty!

First of all, the Marc Jacobs bag is to die for. It is amazing quality, the perfect size, and so sleek looking. It comes with a cute little mirror as well. The Marc Jacobs Showstopper Holiday Set comes with this bag, mirror, lipgloss, liquid eyeliner, mascara, and his mini rolller ball honey perfume (which I forgot to place in the picture). While the bag was worth the purchase, I can't really say the same for the mascara. It does not have the greatest wand, and the formula is very runny. I love the packaging and size, but I don't plan on picking it up again any time soon. I really enjoy the perfume and would recommend it. It stays well throughout the day and has a nice scent. I would also recommend the eyeliner, but I do have to say, I think Stila's is better.

The eyeshadows come in a very sleek case and are beautiful colors. I absolutely love the left highlighter color and use it often. The blue eyeshadow lacks pigment compared to the other two colors. Overall, I do like this eyeshadow set but it won't be my "go-to" palette.

Okay, this is where things change for me with this Holiday Set. I am in LOVE with this lipgloss. I have never been a girl that could pull off red lips, until now! The color and pigmentation of this product is simply amazing. I am already looking to see what colors I want to try next, because of how amazing I found this one to be. It is in the color "Lust for Lacquer Lip Vinyl in Kiss This." If you want to spoil yourself with a high-end gloss, give Marc Jacob's a try!

Matching my red lips to my red starbucks cup :) Hopefully this shows you what a nice gloss it is and how much pigmentation is in the formula. LOVE!

Laura Mercier can seriously do no wrong in my book. This "Artist's Palette for Eyes" did not dissapoint! The colors are so wearable for an everyday look. I tried to swatch some of the colors for you to see on my arm, but the picture doesn't do it justice. I have used this palette everyday since I got it. The packaging is super cute and it has a mirror in it- what more could you ask for? Seriously, get it!

Mini Haul

So, I recently purchased a few things and thought that I would share them with you. I havent had a chance to try everything out yet, but so far am loving what I have tried. I purchased the KORRES makeup removing wipes from Sephora and LOVE them! They are amazing for your skin since they do not contain any parabens, sulfates, synthetic dyes, petrochemicals, or GMOs. They also smell amazing and leave your skin feeling really nice. The second item I bought from Sephora was the Tarte lip exfoliant. When I first opened it and put my finger in it, I was surprised to actually find a grainy feeling product. I love the minty tingling sensation you feel when you exfoliate it into your lips. Again this product is made without parabens and all the bad things listed before, which I am HUGE on. I try to purchase organic and natural products whenever possible! There is also a promo code right now for Sephora called "BLITZ" which lets you pick a makeup bag full of 8 sample goodies! Thats right, I got that cute makeup bag and 8 products for FREE. So far, I am loving the Living Proof anti-frizz serum and Buxom mascara.

Ok, so aside from Sephora, I also purchased these amazingly comfy scrunch over-the-knee socks from Urban Outfitters. Love them! They will definitely be a staple piece for my winter collection.

Lastly, I decided to try the Super Booster teeth whitening pen from Whitening Lightning. The price is ridiculous, but there is ALWAYS a discount code floating around somewhere. I used "rissrose29" and purchased my 2 pack for $29 plus tax. I have yet to test this out, so I am not sure if I would recommend it yet. I am really hoping it works though since the Crest strips make my teeth a bit sensitive. If you have any good reccomendations on teeth whitening, please let me know!

Have a wonderful day :)

Comfy & Cute= Perfect!

Who doesn't love a good off-the-shoulder tee? I recently got this Good hYOUman. tee from The Oxford Trunk and fell in love with it. Besides it being super comfy, it has the cutest quote on it: "You only live once, but if you do it right once is all you need." I paired it with my "go-to" necklaces from Laurenly Boutique and The Oxford Trunk for a layered look. If you haven't checked out Zara yet- you need to! They have the most AMAZING shoes. I plan to get these heels in every color they have. Pants are Vigoss, you can find them at Nordstrom
